This bedside sleeper has been great for travel. I do feel like sometimes it seems like it is slightly tilted towards the bed it is attached to, my baby seems to end up scootched towards that side of the sleeper more often than not, but it is not such an issue that I will not be continuing to use it while my babe is small enough and still nursing throughout the night.I really like that this comes with a bag to pack it in when not in use. It makes taking it along on our family visits so much more convenient. The mattress feels more comfortable to me than the standard pack and play mattress and the added benefit of not making that swishing noise that the pack and play makes, it's so hard to sleep when every time the baby turns their head it makes noise, but this bassinet makes for a quieter environment. If you've ever slept next to a baby though, you know they can be surprisingly noisy on their own, even without the aid of noisy bedding. Some things to note: The base of this needs to be able to slide under the bed partway, so if you have a bed that doesn't have clearance beneath it, the side car feature is not going to function for you. Technically, this sleeper says it can convert into a play yard. While this is true, it would be an excessively small play space, this is a smaller footprint than a standard pack and play.
