Works ok. Burns pretty quickly. I’d buy again though.I timed how long it takes to burn, and it lasted exactly an hour with no wind. The smell was actually pleasant. Not too overwhelming. I kept it around 8 feet away from me and I wasn't bitten at all. Usually, I'm a magnet for insects. I was very pleased with this product. I wish the company offered a starter kit that included a stand.These citronella incense sticks actually do a decent job at keeping away mosquitoes and other bugs. My family likes to eat and relax outside and sometimes the bugs can get so bad. We have a couple citronella candles but we noticed these incense sticks actually do a better job than the candles. They burn for a long time and create a nice smelling smoke that lingers in the area.Overall a great purchase for camping and enjoying the outdoors. A lot of sticks included for the price. I am very happy with my purchase. 5/5 would recommend.These sticks work well. I use a combination of these and Citronella/Cedar oil in torches, which I think is even more effective. I use these to fill in blank spots between the torches. They have a strong scent of Lemongrass, which I like but some find too powerful. They burn very quickly, so are are better used as supplements or for short gatherings. I have a larger version of the same thing that lasts 3-4 hours, which makes it easier to protect a typical BBQ gathering without having to pay too much attention to them.
